Royals Win 68 - 45 in 10th Region Semi-Finals
The Mason County Royals improved to 29 and 4 on the season with an impressive win over George Rogers Clark in the 10th Region Semi-Finals on Tuesday Evening in Mt. Sterling.
After a loud start which saw both teams trading baskets and staying close, the Royals proved too much for the hopeful Cardinals, surging in the second quarter to take over the momentum and control of the game.
Trevor Setty, who led Mason County with 15 points on 6 of 8 shooting, hit a last second high arching three pointer to end the first half and the Royals never looked back.
Darius Miller scored 14 points for Mason County and Russ Middleton added 12.
