Royals Fall to Rice High School NYC 59 - 48
The Mason County Royals led by 7 points early in the fourth quarter but the Rice Raiders, led by UConn Signee Kemba Walker, went on a 26 - 8 run to end the game and give the Royals their first loss of the season.Rice High School is #10 in the USA Today National High School Rankings / Super 25.
The Royals played well against the incredibly fast and talented team from Harlem, New York but in the end the Raiders were quick to the ball, shot excellent from the free throw line, and pulled away in the closing minutes.
Russ Middleton led the Royals with 18 points. Trevor Setty had 12 points and Ethan King added 10.
